Smog haze fumes and frustration. Yep you gotta battle it all just to get home.
I am feeling crushed by metal masses creeping along at a speed of almost naught.
What remains of my day, it seems to take me way down.
Slip away with me now
to feel the blue light, that magic twilight of nature beyond the city limits.
I am somewhere beyond the line of houses of the burbs, perhaps by the sea or further beyond.
It's strange, this blue hour after the sun is gone. It seems to gently soothe away my very own blues.
I feel very god-like in the moment when wandering the shore, that I transcend into another world.
Perhaps, being on my own it seems even more powerful. Photography can be a singular pursuit.
This I treasure as the camera sees things I sometimes cannot see.
Soft light yielding off grey clouds mellows me with its own magic.
Moments of mystery seem to materialise into cool coloured images.
Showing me the possibilities of other smooth pristine places, my imagination comes alive.
The blue mood melts away, energising and enriching me with inner peace.
Haunting clouds parting, as if pink angels are ready to float down to the seas salty trickle.
I feel such a sense of awe and being so special.
Nobody here ..... I am witness to such an entrancing brief few moments of pastel amongst the blue.
These are special moments captured through my camera, for it doesn't happen all the time.
When the clouds form and the light is just right, these are the moments and treasures I love to share with you.
I thank you for being a witness to all of this. Thank you, Gregory Paul Edwards, August 2016.
